With the summer season finally upon us we want to remind you of the importance of servicing your air conditioning system.
The least expensive way to maintain your cooling system is to change the air filter. Air pollutants and dirt can clog the filter and can cause damage to your health and the equipment.
- The filter can be found in a compartment that is covered by a strip of metal that slides in place.
- The filter’s size can be found on the side of the filter.
- Take these measurements to a local home improvement store to purchase the properly sized filter for your system.
- To help keep track of when you have changed your filter tape a piece of paper to the side of the equipment and write down the date.
To keep your system running efficiently it is advised to change the filters at least once a year.
